Shenandoah School Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Scott Widner as the Principal of Shenandoah Middle School.
Mr. Widner is currently the Principal of Tri Jr.-Sr. High School where he has served in that role since 2018. Prior to going to Tri High as an administrator, Scott spent 15 years at Shenandoah as a math teacher and coach at Shenandoah Middle School and Shenandoah High School.
Shenandoah Superintendent Dr. Kyle Barrentine expressed excitement about the selection and stated, "We are thrilled to bring Scott Widner back to Shenandoah where he has had much success as a teacher, won a lot of games as a coach, and made a huge impact on students and staff as a mentor and a trusted colleague. We are looking forward to learning alongside Scott and to watching him provide leadership to our staff and students of Shenandoah Middle School."
Mr. Widner will officially assume the role of principal on Monday, February 26th. Welcome home, Mr. Widner!
