Club Information

Transformers is a SHS club that was first started for new people who didn't have a club. Transformers was the idea of former Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Susan Wallach. After it's start the club didn't want to exclude other students from joining, so it has evolved into a mainstream organization which has as its mission to observe school and community needs and then work collectively to make Shenandoah and our community a better place. Transformers annually collect scarves, mittens, and hats through our Giving Tree each December. We also sponsor one or more bake sales and other fund raising projects that raise money for such things as the Middletown Food pantry, the Madison County Humane Scoiety, an emergency need of a Shenandoah student's family, or Scholarship monies for SHS Dollars for Scholars. Transformers meet at least monthly and welcome both new students to Shenandoah and returning club members.
