ACT College Readiness benchmark Scores

A Benchmark score is the minimum score needed on an ACT subtect-area test to indicate a 50% chance of obtaining a B or higher or about a 75% chance of obtaining a C or higher in the corresponding credit-bearing college course, which include English Composition, Algebra, Social Science, Biology, and STEM. These scores were empirically derived based on the actual performance of students in college.

2016 PSAT Scores

Scores from the November 2, 2016 administration of the PSAT are now available. Students may access their scores electronically using the link below. Below is also a link to a brief video explaining how to interpret your student's scores.

In order to qualify for dual credit classes students must have the following minimum PSAT scores:

26 Writing Skills

25 Critical Reading

27 Math

The CollegeBoard has also established the following Benchmark scores. Achieving the Benchmark score indicates that your student is prepared for college-level coursework.

Sophomores (class of 2019):

480 Math

430 Reading & Writing

Juniors (class of 2018):

510 Math

460 Reading & Writing
