BASIC INFORMATION

Shenandoah High School will be offering the following summer school courses this summer. All coursework will be completed online. Enrollment is only open to current SHS students. Please note that absences are not tolerated for summer school. A student will be automatically withdrawn from summer school following their first absence!

GOVERNMENT: This course is offered to senior students only.Upon completion a student will have fulfilled the Government requirement toward graduation.The cost of the class is $20. Class meets May 26 to June 26, 2020. All instruction will be offered through Canvas.

ECONOMICS: This course is offered to senior students only.Upon completion a student will have fulfilled the Economics requirement toward graduation. The cost of the class is $20.Class meets May 26 to June 26, 2020. All instruction will be offered through Canvas.

SAE SUMMER PROGRAM: This course is available for students in FFA.The cost is $20. All final materials must be submitted no later than June 26, 2020. All instruction will be offered through Canvas.

ALGEBRA I, BIOLOGY, ENGLISH 9,10,11,12, GEOGRAPHY & HISTORY OF THE WORLD, HEALTH & WELLNESS, PREPARING FOR COLLEGE & CAREERS, US HISTORY: These courses will all be offered using PLATO software. Students will work at their own pace while being supervised by a licensed teacher. Students will be required to log a minimum of 38 hours on the computer for each course they wish to complete. Each course is designed as a credit recovery option. Students who have not previously been exposed to the course content will not be allowed to apply. Students may earn a maximum of 2 credits through PLATO Credit Recovery. The cost for each class is $20. Students must complete all coursework by no later than June 26, 2020.

Registration and payment are required to reserve a spot. No refunds will be issued following the start of summer school. Registrations are due by:
